Meeting called to Order: 7:15PM

Present: Sherief, Alvar, Lady Liuete, Kol, Muirrenn, Lady Seraphina, THL John, Lord Torin, James

**We had a very small turnout for this meeting (although I know there were extenuating circumstances), I hope to see more of you next time!**

New Business:

• Lord Torin: He is planning on making 200 tokens for Artemas anniversary.
• Lady Seraphina: A to do list for Artemas anniversary was read, as was the event announcement that was sent to the CP and the ST.
  -there was discussion and it was decided that Lady Seraphina would add archery into the event announcement.
  -Lady Ariana will look into getting the bread for the bread riot.
  -There was discussion about whether or not to have games. It was decided that we would ask THL Alura, the baronial children's officer if she would do the children's events, and Lady Ariana if she would do the others.
  -We need to find someone to run the donation auction, we'll try to find Joe Spencer.
  -Decorations were discussed; we will encourage people to bring banners to put up in the hall.
  -Alvar will still try to reserve the Rec Gym in case of rain
  -The cost of the feast was discussed, and we decided it will be $5.00.
  -We need to ask Kean where he got the ribbon so we can get more of it, and we also need to get gold beads. Muirrenn will be taking care of the beads. A second gold bead will be used to denote people who have paid for the feast.
• Lady Seraphina: we're getting close to when we should be voting on officers, so we're going to open the nominations tonight, and they will remain open until the first meeting in February, when we will vote (I think). We will nominate whomever we want to, and they can refuse or accept the nominations when they are present.

  Officer’s Reports:

  Captain of Archers: Archery is still happening.

  Constable: Sherief - He has nothing to report.

  Seneschal: Lady Seraphina - Welcomes everyone back from break and is glad they are at the meeting.

  Web Chronicler Kol - Things have been slow over break--
  Lady Seraphina: informed him that there is paper work he can get so that he can upload the changes himself, and doesn't have to wait for Lady Maggie, talk to Lady Maggie at Council
  Lord Torrin: Kol needs to tell Lady Maggie that Archery begins at 5:30, not 5:00 on weekdays

  Chatelaine: Muirrenn - Not much is going on; we still have loaner garb. No one has been borrowing it. I am still wanting to do a demo sometime, hopefully this quarter, since sun god is next quarter -there was some discussion, and we decided to do the demo up on the hill near sungod as it is an unusual location for us, and may draw more attention.

  Herold: Alvar - He submitted a badge for and Artemas lights warband (The Light of Artemas or, Artemaslite). There were enough officers at the event to sign the form saying that the conflict was okay, and the seneschal does not have to be one of them. It is the same device as the other Artemas badges, but with crossed torches replacing the swords/arrows/quills. He would like to be reimbursed for the submission fee.

  Arts and Sciences: Lady Liuete - She will plan on holding a skirts and pants workshop sometime in january. There are not many free days this month, thus she would prefer to hold it on a weeknight. She will put out an email to the list asking people for their opinions about when it should be. The alternative days to weekends are sat, jan 18, or sat jan 25.

  Exchequer: Lady Ariana (in absentia); report given by Lady Liuete - There is nothing to report. It is her and Nick's 3rd anniversary. Happy anniversary to them!

  Old Business:

  • Lord Torin: he is planning on making six new service medallions
  • THL John: he is still planning on doing the fletching workshop, and as the college has already approved it, he will be getting a new jig sometime soon. People will be able to make their own arrows if they bring all their own stuff.
  • The next meeting will be moved up to 19 January, rather than the following week
