Seneschal:Lady Liuete - How was war for everyone? Lots of flies, the
site was okay, we'll need a bigger spot later. -Leif Eriksen went very well, the
ice flows were a big success.
-Dreiburgen anniversary is next Saturday, the
silk banner workshop will be next Sunday.
-The following week is Calafian
anniversary, we need to plan her death.
-there was some discussion and we
decided that to save time, we would just have a funeral instead of the actual
killing.
-Need to figure out who can add people to the email list.
Chatelaine: Muirrenn - Master Robert talked to me at great length at Lief Eriksen about helping us run a war if necessary. He said he would be glad to conduct a workshop about what needs to be done, the positions necessary, etc. The loaner garb tub is pretty much totally full, and we haven't used up the entire buget yet, so for now I recommend not buying anything else for lack of storage space. Somewhat off topic, I was talking to Locklyn at the tourney, and she said that they are actually making decent progress towards creating a grant of arms level lights award, to be equivalent to Lux Caidis, Cresent, White Scarf, Guantlet, and Chiron.
Web Chronicler Kol - He wants to get the instructions to add people to the college list, and put a link on the web to the person who can add people. If anyone wants something done, they should tell him.
Marshal: Lord Lonán - practices are going well. The warband is really excited about September war, as it would be their 10th anniversary, so they are definitely in support of it. The only incident is that one fighter had a mass weapon pulled because of improper construction. There is no metal allowed in built up weapons (axes, hammers, etc.) just for future reference. Conner will be coming to heavies practice on Monday, 4 November at Stanley Park to teach a workshop about weapon construction, and will be reviewing everyone's designs. Sunday, 3 November, Kingdom War practice will be held at allied gardens, everyone should make an attempt to go. St. Artemas practices are still being held every Monday at Stanley Park in Clairemont, at 7:00 PM.
Arts and Sciences: Lady Seraphina - The silk banner pre-workshop will be held on Tuesday, 22 October at Ariana's house at 8:00 PM. Bring $10 to pay for the scarf, or you won't get it. The Tunic workshop held by Lady Ariana will be Saturday, 9 November in the North Conference Room (the Saturday after Baronial anniversary).
Constable: Sherief - He fought in Leif Eriksen. It was good.
Herold: Alvar - He is thinking of having another Heraldry workshop,
after his play is over (17 November). Various people need names, etc. There are
a lot of really good heraldry books in the library. He is going to be talking to
Eridana about getting a pic.-Dic.
-there were motions to buy a pic.dic. and
a marshalls hand book which were unanimously approved.
Exchequer: Lady Ariana - We have around $2,000.00, but we haven't gotten May war money yet.
New Business
We should do something cool at Artemas Anniversary. Maybe we should have the ball at the International Center. It is our 15th Anniversary.
